This system uses a 10 inch (25cm) Slim CTO water filter. The CTO filter, also known as a Chlorine, Taste, and Odor filter or carbon filter, uses activated carbon blocks to remove chlorine, unpleasant tastes and odors from the water. The filter medium adsorbs the contaminants, purifying the water. Together with the UV LED water disinfection technology that kills harmful microorganisms, you are assured of safe and clean drinking water.
We recommend replacing the filters every 3-6 months (depending on water quality).
