How does it work?
This water filter is a two-stage water filter cartridge that combines KDF-55 (Kinetic Degradation Fluxion) and GAC (Granular Activated Carbon).
The KDF-55 uses a special alloy of copper and zinc to reduce chlorine, heavy metals and bacteria in the water. The filter medium converts these contaminants into harmless substances. In addition, the KDF filter can also help regulate the growth of bacteria and algae in the filter medium itself.
The GAC unit uses a bed of activated carbon to adsorb chlorine, chemicals, organics and unpleasant tastes and odors from the water.
Due to the high quality of this filter medium that combines KDF55 and GAC, a tremendously wide range of impurities are filtered out of the water and you are always assured of clean and safe drinking water.
