How does it work?

The GAC filter, which stands for Granular Activated Carbon filter, uses a bed of activated carbon to adsorb chlorine, chemicals, organics and unpleasant tastes and odors from the water. The filter medium absorbs these contaminants, making the water purified, safe and refreshing.

Why this water filter?

GAC filters are effective at removing chlorine, organic chemicals, PFAS/PFOS/PFOA X-GEN, fragrances and pesticides. They help improve overall water quality.

Tip: The combination of GAC (Granular Activated Carbon) and CTO (Chlorine, Taste, and Odor) filters is very effective because each of these filters focuses on different aspects of water purification. CTO filters are specifically designed to remove chlorine, odor and taste from water. By combining both filters, you optimally tackle contamination and improve the quality and taste of water.

What type of water is this filter suitable for?

The GAC filter is suitable for water containing chlorine, chemicals, organic substances, bacteria, and unpleasant tastes and odors, such as ground rain and surface water. But also for tap water (mainly in Southern European countries and unfortunately increasingly in other Western countries).
